Pino Musi. Continuum
La mostra "Pino Musi. Continuum" presenta una selezione di lavori del fotografo e invita il visitatore a esplorare i diversi capitoli della sua ricerca legati ai temi dello spazio attraverso un percorso espositivo pensato appositamente per il Teatro dell'architettura Mendrisio.
Come scrive il curatore: "Definire Pino Musi un 'fotografo' appare riduttivo, sebbene la fotografia sia lo strumento elettivo che lo contraddistingue. La sua è, in ultima analisi, una pratica del pensiero mediata dallo sguardo: un esercizio intellettuale che piega il rigore tecnico alla necessità di svelare la realtà sotto una luce inedita, trasformando l’atto del vedere in una autentica forma di conoscenza."

The exhibition "Pino Musi. Continuum" presents a selection of the photographer’s works and invites visitors to explore the different facets of his investigation of space through a display conceived specifically for the Teatro dell'architettura Mendrisio.
As the curator writes: “It seems reductive to describe Pino Musi simply as a ‘photographer’, even though photography is the medium that defines his practice. Ultimately, his work is an activity of the mind, mediated by the gaze: an intellectual exercise that bends technical rigour to the need to reveal the world in a new light, transforming the act of seeing into a form of knowledge.”
