«The city is a living organism in constant change. New visions and dreams emerge, needs and functions change. The built environment has to respond to this. Arcgencys architecture takes its origin in this dynamic. Our approach to design is more practical than theoretical. We stay curious and understand our projects as experiments through which we challenge classical building techniques, programmes and use of ressources. It is our core value to take responsibility for our planet and its limited resources. We work with adaptive reuse, design for disassembly and life-cycle assessments and believe that well designed buildings will have a long lifetime and thereby create less waste.»
